Husbands, Wives, and Situations Wanted
Brandy and Ronnie are looking for a sister-wife. Here's what they say--Hi! We are Ronnie & Brandy from Austin, TX! We are new to the Austin area, having originated from West Texas, but we are loving it here! He is 35, I am 30. We have three beautiful children two in grade school and a sweet baby. He is in sales, I am a homemaker by choice. We are a close couple, and very good friends. We want our new sisterwife to find that same closeness and friendship!
We have a very broad range of interests within our family. Here are a few: fishing, camping, hiking, board games, video games, learning guitar, learning piano, poker, psychology, studying other religions, survivalist, home remodeling, gardening, lounging around, reading, visiting amusement parks, soccer, scrapbooking, photography, arts & crafts with kids, comedy. Music & movies are also a big part of our lives. We are still a bit addicted to entertainment! :-)
Recently, after much prayer, we decided that polygyny was for us! I know many are curious, so I will say that it was me (Brandy) who first thought of the idea. I saw all the practical benefits as well as the fact that it is in line with our Christian beliefs. Although both of us are Christians, we are not specifically pursuing polygamy for religious purposes. Both of us believe that we believers should strive to the highest Christian ideal, but that at the same time recognize that we often miss the mark and that is where grace comes in!!
We both believe strongly in commitment, respect and loyalty and that marriage is a sacred covenant before God that should be honored "Til death do us part." (Isn't it sad that phrase sounds so old-fashioned nowdays??) :-) Basically, we want polygamy for the same reason that many people get married - because they want someone else to share their life - for better or worse!!

Perhaps they aren't looking for a husband-- maybe they're looking for a family.
It's difficult to understand polygamy if you don't understand that women who marry into polygamy are marrying the other wives as well as the husband.
By marriage, I mean the intent to spend a life together, lay and implement long-range plans (build a house, have children, retire together, etc.), and share experiences together, thereby growing more deeply in love.
And yes, the husband has sex with more than one wife, the same loving, shared, intimate experience as it is in a monogamous marriage. But take the sex out of polygamy, and it is still recognizably polygamous.

The modern poly family is just as wholesome as the average married couple... It has nothing to do with being dominated or told what to do. We come to sites like these to find kindnesss and understanding not ignorance and insult. Statisticly speaking the modern poly family stays toghether an average of 4 times longer than the modern married couple... We must be doing something right.
I do believe that the women looking for a husband are thinking freely. No one put a gun up to her head. It is in a man nature to have more then women. At least she wants to be his wife not his whore!
The women from YFZ looked "broken"?? Of course they did. My god, the ordeal they went through, having armed thugs raid their home, ly to them, round them up like cattle and take them off to a "holding area"...
On top of that what mother would not be "broken" by having her children stolen away?

Who said anything about red laced panties? The couple stated who they were & what they were looking for in a partner. Not at all different than any other online dating ad.
The MOTHERS at LFZ had their children stolen from them, of course they looked broken.

I am friends with Ronnie and Brandy. They are really great people. Any woman would be fortunate to be a member of their family.
what about the women having multiple male partners? I have to wonder if any of you agree with that? Also, you always hear about polygamy being that the man has two wives and the two wives might become friends or just not converse, is there ever a relationship in which there is a love triangle? As a bisexual, I have dreamt about possibly have a husband and wife...
I'm in a relationship right now but have wanted to connect with this couple for months now but don't want to seem shady because I'm in a relationship.its just rare to find this "normal"of a relationship like they have.I have been in a poly relationship before and it was the most connected I have ever felt.it would be cool to get together and compare notes.we have a lot in common.I'm 26 and live in austin too.I have the most repect for people like this couple.I wish them the best.hopefully one day our paths will cross
